  We used to eat here almost once a week. We loved the food, it was close to home, and reasonably priced. One night I ordered the shrimp platter dinner then when it was served to me I asked for tartar sauce because I don't like cocktail. The waitress went and asked the cook for tartar sauce. Which apparently was a big deal because he stood there throwing a fit and complaining about it loudly so everyone in there could hear. After all of that over a cup a tartar sauce we would not be coming back.
  
  My grandparents came to town and this is where they wanted to go. They are old and we don't see them much so I just agreed. We are getting our orders taken and my boyfriend orders steak and hashbrowns for his choice of potatoe. Then my son says he wants hashbrowns too but with his chicken strips. The waitress turns around to ask the cook if he can do hashbrowns with chicken strips.....(This is food I am paying for. This isn't being given to us for free.)
  He gets upset about it instantly, starts complaining rudely,and making nasty faces about it in front of my whole family because my 7 year old wants hashbrowns like his Dad. SAME COOK. I apologized to my grandparents and told them that's why we don't come here anymore.

  Good cafe food, friendly service. Only complaint is they don't take credit cards. My bill was $20.47 and I only had a 20. Was hesitant to use atm and get charged extra fees. The friendly server was kind enough to cover the 47 cents but i felt crappy about not being able to leave a tip.
